This July we are so excited to have the one and only Fen from Alabama.

Lesson: Un-Mirrored Micro

Because of its close connection, micro can become a dance of symmetry – two halves of a whole connection, moving together at the same time. But what if we broke the mirror? What if we could stay connected and listening, but have a dance of two minds, meeting in collaboration? Welcome to un-mirrored micro.

Access notes: you should have some experience with micro before taking this class. Accommodations can be made for dancing outside of close embrace.

☀ NO STREET SHOES. Only dance shoes, socks, bare feet, or non marking shoes. There is plenty of space for people’s things.

☀ Keeping conversations under the music or outside the dance space.
☀ This is a non-alcoholic event.
